  • Comments: This was the inaugural run for this event. I enjoyed it and thought the race organizers did a great job hosting it. It was a chip race with full results posted online by mid afternoon of the race day. Bar-be-cue, live music and refreshments were available to participants post-race. A local high school ROTC members provided race support, giving directions and handing out water at the 2 water stops on the course and at the finish line. I thought Snowden Grove Park was a great venue for a road race. The event had a nice small town feel to it. There were a lot of walkers in the field, even walking groups organized into teams who did fund raising for this event.
