  • Comments: Good race but 30,000+ runners is just too many to handle at start and finish. Transportation from the finish line is a real disaster. We got very lucky.

  • Comments: This was an awesome race. Since I was running for a friend at the last minute, I didn't know what to expect. I never ran in an RnR event, but I see the difference in the organization, entertainment and overall production of the event. Although this is an expensive entry, it shows in all aspects of the event. I would definetly do this run again.

  • Comments: Nice race. Not as scenic as some of the others (Carlsbad/La Jolla), but it's really cool to do something on this scale. Pretty well run too.

  • Comments: After the race and I got to my car, talked to DH on the phone had him help me located S and W. I wanted to find them and come in the last 3 miles with them. Parked and walked the course backwards until I found them at mile 23ish and walked with them just to the chute. S wanted to quit, but kept her going. They were walking at this point, but it was her first (and last apparently) marathon. It feels good to share the love. This race was EXTREMELY well organized and with 30K plus people pretty amazing! I WILL run this next year and be under 2:00!
