  • Lots of volunteers to help?Yes
  • Plenty of drink stations?Yes

  • Overall course based on my ability: Just right

  • Comments: This race was really well done. It seems to attract a somewhat less experienced crowd than the SetUpEvents races, for example. But Ken does an excellent job and it was a great experience. It was very well organized. The Open division prizes were nice engraved plaques, and the post race food included pasta and sandwiches. I would definitely look forward to doing this one again.

  • Comments: After the race, I talk with a good number of folks about the race and the fact that I'm not doing too good unfortunately. Found out Geoff Irwin took the Sprint overall and I find I'm not really surprised. Some good food here and I partake of the yummy turkey sandwiches, cookies, and fruit. There was pasta salad too but I'm afraid I couldn't stomach that at the time. I thank the nice volunteers at the food tent as well. Really, quite a good spread after the race and I really appreciate when races provide something other than pizza (which I REALLY can't stomach after a race) and also a variety to choose from. I take the time to congratulate others I recognized on the race, from the gal I passed near the end of the race to the guy I was trying to catch on the run. Then take my stuff to the car…S-L-O-W-L-Y…and then make my way back for awards. No surprise that Jason has taken 1st in AG (and 1st over all AGs) and Dan takes 2nd in his AG. I was 36 seconds from 4th and actually from 3rd

  • Comments: Ken put on another great local race. Lots of help and water out on course. The bike was tough and run not easy after the bike. But nice to ride out in the country. Very organized and super quick w/ the results.

  • Comments: Race was well organized and affordable, but the course was very difficult. Not the kind of race you'd want for your first olympic ever or even of the season. A tough course for seasoned competitors.

  • Comments: Another good race for Ken, Very challenging track, will be back next year to go faster. Course was well marked for both the bike and run, plenty of volunteers, for a course with lots of turns I was never close to missing any turns.

  • Comments: Including the 10 males in the Elite/Open division, I would have finished 11th out of a total of 123 males. Not too bad! I'd do this race again next year if my schedule permits. Always like to compare year after year to assess my improvements!

  • Comments: Well run race. Was a bummer that they ran out of t-shirts though. This was my first Olympic distance tri, so I guess I should just be happy about finishing. Still need a lot of work on the running though. Either that or take up Aqua Velo.
