  • Comments: Race is out South River HS and they let you into the cafeteria to regster, etc. Was really nice to have a place inside to get out of the cold. Currently listed in the results as "A. Bandit". They didn't use timing chips (even looked at me funny when I asked) and instead tore of the bottom of your bib number when you crossed the line. They were pretty annoyed (and told me so) when I didn't have mine. I assumed the tab on the bib was (like most placed) for a race premium and since I already had my t-shirt I tore it off before the race. obviously my mistake but they should have made it clear this is what they used the tabs for. But frankly, I was more annoyed that they gave me grief about it at the finish line.

  • Comments: Low key event, but well run. They let us in the gym at the High School so we didn't have to stand around in the cold. Tons of food.

  • Comments: Great race. Plenty of post-race food. Grabbed a smoothie after the race but didn't take any of the food. Race was well organized and only started a couple of minutes late so nothing major. Came in at a better time than I expected considering I haven't been able to run since early October!

  • Comments: Annapolis Striders knows how to put on a race. Awesome swag. $15 bucks got a long sleeve shirt (it says "I fartleked my way through the Turkey Trot 10k") and it was the most impressive spread of food and drink I've ever seen. Smoothies, hot cider, loads of fruit and bagels, tons of cookies and sweets...to much food to mention. This is definitely going to be an annual race for me - I had a blast. They also had hot chicken and beef broth after the race - what an awesome post race drink when it's cold!
