  • Comments: The folks who run the event almost seemed annoyed at having to do so. This is odd considering they are making some serious dough off the event. There is a fifteen dollar entry fee, PER PERSON. So a three person relay costs 45 bucks. Since the event is a low key, training -type event, with NO police support, no goodie bag, no transition area, no computer timing...you get the idea. This event should prolly be free with the free advertising and business opportunity for the company who runs it enough incentive. But that is prolly why the shop that sponsors the event continues to lose ground to the other, much better LBS in Placid. If the stated purpose is to get folks into Triathlon (especially kids) accessibilty should be a priority. Okay, off my box.
