  • Comments: As Carol said, this race is worth it just for the swag. I could have done much better with better weather, but I'm not sure I would feel as good about it. This was a memorable experience.

  • Comments: The course was good. It could be a fast race. But mother nature showed she is in control on this day and totally turned this race around. It took a lot of mental effort/determination out there. I felt I gave it all I could, and with different conditions it would have been a fast race. But this was a good exercise in making the best with what you get.

  • Comments: FS Series is awesome! Even for a smaller race, it was extremely well staffed with police, water stations, and river crew. Thanks again for an unforgettable experience.

  • Comments: i enjoy this race. it is in it's second year, but FS does a great job of putting this on. The numbers are smaller, but that is not a bad thing. The location is perfect and the community very supportive.

  • Comments: FS series knocked it out of the park. There were volunteers and police everywhere and the swag was top notch. I have never seen so many racers wearing the free clothing (Cool Hoodies).

  • Comments: Nice little event with good organization and sufficient support. Hooded sweatshirts are a keeper. I didn't hang around for the awards but they had music playing and water/soda available for the participants. Everyone also got a $5 voucher to use with the food vender. This was a different approach but seemed to work fine. It wasn't unlimited grub or a big spread with a lot of options but it got me 2X chili dogs and a bag of chips - good enough.

  • Comments: I did the olympic distance here and upon those times set my goal at 5:15, 5:30 or bust. I made my goal and am thrilled with the fact that I completed a 70.3 on my first year of competing. Triathlons have changed my outlook on life in a very positive way and I look foward to continuing.
