  • Organised?Yes
  • Events on time?Yes

  • Lots of volunteers to help?Yes
  • Plenty of drink stations?Yes

  • Post race activities?
  • Overall course based on my ability: Just right

  • Comments: They bill themselves as a good preparation for the Hotter n Hell, and if our recent weather had held it would have been, possibly hotter than the HH. The course is similar (based on a ten year old recollection). The Graham Rally is probably more similar to Wichita Falls in look and feel, terrain etc

  • Overall course based on my ability: Just right

  • Comments: We have been having some brutal heat this summer so they moved the start up to 7am with an optional informal start at 6:30 which I took. The heat never hit like it had been thanks to the rain but I appreciated the early start. Im a 6hour century rider right now-early is better

  • Overall course based on my ability: Too hard

  • Comments: It's a small rally, only in it's fifth year. They had a larger turnout than expected however. There was almost no one at the finish except my wife to cheer anyone home. I only visited one rest stop, well manned with kids, Gatorade and water and Ice cold paper towels that I stuffed in my jersey pocket. I just don't have enough miles on my legs with 6 weeks of training. I rode largely on memories of past "glory" instead of current reality
