  • Comments: I really like this race. I've done it 3 times and finished 3rd, 2nd and 1st in my AG. People are nice and the fact that it is close by make it easy for me. This was my first AG win. I'm still in shock that I did it. Everything felt good and I can scratch one more thing off the bucket list.

  • Comments: This is a good local race. Things went smoothly and they have a lot going on with 3 races that morning. Lots of volunteers and nice people. Will probably do this again in a few years. I need a change of pace/venue next year.

  • Comments: Perhaps this is specific to tris, but I was amazed by the number of teenage volunteers on the course who were texting, talking on phones or sitting on the curb with their heads in their laps trying to sleep. I just haven't seen this at running races. Also, a couple of the intersections with traffic lights really needed an adult volunteer to make sure we didn't get run over rather than a lone teen volunteer tucked away on a curb sleeping.

  • Comments: I really like small races and I think Highlands Ranch does a great job with their tri series. I will say that the high school volunteers this morning were kind of sketchy. Marking on the run course could have been a little bit better, but I managed not to get lost, so I guess it was good enough! I'm glad I thought to go down to the pool to see if I could get started early, I got to go 30 minutes before my (extremely late) scheduled start time.
