  • Comments: I will do this race for as long as I live in Florida. It will be a good touchstone to where I am and how far I've come, whatever I'm doing. It was Amy from Church that I'd past. She's a good swimmer, and last year, when I DNF, I ran with her from the beach to the bike. My time was 6 minutes slower this year, but it was my own swim time. I'm sorry I couldn't push myself, but overall I'm pretty proud of me.

  • Comments: People were very disrespectful to the slower competitors in the later waves, going in the transition area before the last people started the run, and driving on the run course in the park. The volunteers tried to get people out of the transition area but they didn't listen.

  • Comments: Overall terrific race. Perfect swim conditions, perfect bike conditions. Only issue is that although I know they were limited on space in the park due to part of it being closed, I think having the bike in/out and run in/out areas being in the same place were not the best idea from a safety aspect.

  • Comments: Really crowded this year. It seemed that there were twice the entrants this year. Parking was a huge issue. Half of the park was closed due to damage from the hurricane. All said, I was 6 minuted faster in this race this year which is a pretty impressive improvement
