  • Comments: Small race, small crowd, but a very competitive and experienced field, it seemed like. Good location for a du, since it was all contained within the park, except for bike course; that would've been great if the Jacob's Creek Bridge would've been open. DQ did a solid job, as always. Best part was being able to be home in 10-15 minutes afterwards. Was shocked later in the day to see I finished second among Clydes..would've been cool to stand on podium and get recognized (even though there were only five of us), but I never would've even anticipated that as a possibility.

  • Comments: A great first race of my first season. Fairly good crowd--mostly good people but the inevitable few jerks. Overall, a race I'll definitely do again!
