  • Comments: Great Race! There were lots of great volunteers offering encouragement and to point you in the right direction. Lots of Kayaks to help make sure everyone made it in on the swim. There were aid stations at each transition and in the middle of each run. Great atmosphere at the race, everything was relaxed and very friendly. Envirosports put on a great race. I would do this event again and wouldn't hesitate about signing up for their other events.

  • Comments: This is a great race! The course is stunningly beautiful, and challenging with the Bay swim and hilly run & bike.

  • Comments: This race is a quintessential San Francisco race. You have the swim from Alcatraz, you have a run along the Marina and Crissy Field, you have a hilly bike ride, and you have a hilly run including an energy sapping stretch out and back on Baker Beach with the infamous sand ladder. This race is available as a tri, a relay, or as a swim-only event (like the Alcatraz sharkfest event). It's a great challenge and highly recommended!
