Comments: Long-running race series down to just this one race this year (used to be three in spring, one in fall). This sprint distance option is a terrific tri for first-timers. I had my first age group win at this race in 2007...also finishing the run injured (broken wrist in bike fall then, blown-up hamstring this time).

Comments: Supposedly longest running tri series in the world. I've been doing races at Bonelli Park since 2007. Different (shorter, hillier) bike course this time due to construction.

Comments: First race in LA in 2 1/2 years (tri or run). Missed 3rd in AG by 8 seconds!

Comments: Great start for me. Will defeinitely do this next year, but maybe try for the Championship Distance.
