  • Comments: Good smaller race. Hilly course, nothing terribly steep, just constant hills.

  • Comments: Enjoyed the race and would do it again. Course was very well marked. If the transition area was paved it would be even that much better. I don't want to harp too much on that, but that's really the only negative.

  • Comments: So stoked to get my first 1st overall finish!!! I know it's a small local race but still felt great! Fun and challenging course. Very low key atmosphere. A little rough around the edges. Great awards; I got a plaque for 1st OA plus a mug and ceramic spoon with the race logo, plus a 32 serving tub of HEED. AG podiums got a mug and certificate with finishing place. Lots of swag (compared to number of participants) handed out at the awards ceremony; I came away with a certificate for one free Rudy Project item of my choice: sunglass, helmet, cycling gear, or bag.

  • Comments: What can I say? Placed 2nd in my age group. OWS freaked me out at first. It was a very tough little sprint but I feel great with the results. Small race with not many participants. Fun and very challenging. The transition area was less than desirable. Very rough pavement. Took way to long for awards and post race activities. Food spread was not that great. But I will return.

  • Comments: Sounds like they will be changing a few things for next year, hopefully I'll be able to do it and beat my time!
