  • Comments: This is still a really fun race and the organizers do a great job. LOVE coming here with our big group and the party afterwards. Just not happy with my own attitude. I may be done with tri for awhile.

  • Comments: I sold myself short and probably missed placing by 3.5 seconds because of that. Lesson learned! Despite that it was one of my better races and I met all goals but running in under 35 minutes. OTOH, I exceeding OA time goal by almost 3 minutes. Too bad it was not 3 min and 1 second.... Arrrrgggggggghhhhhh!!!!!! Would have taken first in Athena (13 contenders) - both 40+ and overall (22 total contenders).

  • Comments: With lack of training due to on going leg issue, business work overload and just plain laziness I was actually amazed at the result for this race. Went in knowing this was a C race and didn't wear any electronics, not even my simple Timex watch and ignored the bike CPU. If I would have averaged transition time from the last 4 races I could have had 4 more spots on the AG overall.
