  • Comments: This is not because that 70.3 is in my backyard but it was THE BEST triathlon that I ever did. The event was organised flawlessly. If you have to do a 70.3 one day, this one is the best one :) Best swim split, best bike split and best run split in a HIM. I will take that ;)

  • Comments: Folks, this is an excellent excellent race. It is expensive to get there (I had a $300 cab ride from the airport. If you go, rent a car.) but the people are so nice and the race site is beautiful. I have heard that they will alter the course for the full in 2013. This is a good idea. Doing 2 loops on that bike course would hurt!

  • Comments: Best. Race. Period. Great venue, wonderful roads, awesome cheering and volunteers, fantastic organisation, I can't think of something bad about this race. From the start to the finish, it was just freakin' unbelievable!!! Just one thing, if they can remove rocks the next time from the bottom of the lake, that might be the only downside I can think of... The big canon for the start, the snowbirds, the bike course, the organisation, everything was just perfect!!! Now, time to rest and ice my toe... IM Lake Placid is in 4 weeks and I need to heal and rest... ;)

  • Comments: The organization and the Volunteers were awesome!!! I couldn't believe how helpful and enthusiastic they all were. Everyone was cheering all day long, out on the bike course there were volunteers and police at every intersection or driveway to make sure no one came onto the course, in the town of Tremblant they had tons of people out cheering, beeping car horns at a taxi stand, and blowing horns/using soundmakers, they were super nice and friendly, by far the best experience I have ever had at a race! Especially for a first time race, those doing the full Ironman are in for an awesome time in August!

  • Comments: My first experience at a WTC race was a good one. The venue in Mt. Tremblant was spectacular. Our hotel was literally right on the course, and super convenient. The weather turned our to be nice, albeit it a little hotter and sunnier than I would have liked. I'd think about doing the full IM next year, but that bike would be brutal! I stuck around after the awards and snagged a roll-down slot to Vegas. I'll have to do a lot of summer training during the hot parts of the day to be ready to race there!

  • Comments: Amazing race. For the first time they crushed it! Great scenery and a pretty tough course that keeps you honest. Love to attend at somepoint in the future, maybe will end up doing the full iron as my first one day.
