  • Comments: This is the first time I've actually approached a race as a 'C' race or training race. My main objective was to gauge my fitness level both from last year and heading into my Oly training plan starting next week. I though I did a good job of pushing, but not too much. Went pretty much as I expected, so was happy overall. This race has a great venue, but the RD just can't seem to get their act together; it always feels a bit disorganized. Bringing in a new timer (Alta Vista) certainly helped. They announced this is the last time they are going to do their spring race and will instead concentrate only on their fall race. Unfortunately that puts them into direct competition with several other well-established local races, including Rev3 FL down in Venice.

  • Comments: very good comp to most I've been to; can be improved but then again, so can I (improve). tks and kudos to one & all at LBK. keep up good efforts and word will get out more/better. I certainly will share/tell. "a beeeedy beeeeedy beeeedy bee, Shalom folks!!!"

  • Comments: I love the venue for this event. Protected swim, great roads for the bike and run and plenty of volunteers. Really wish they would figure out the shirt issue, but other than that this is a great race.

  • Comments: I look fwd to doing this event/locale/venue again next yr. i may watch Octobers olympic/int'l distance race, dream &/or get inspired to "go longer" (but first must go harder/faster/smarter in sprints) IF u like smaller, quainter races, then LBK club tri is for u. Good peeps here who, like all of us can improve in some areas, but overall do one heckava job trying to please many individuals. God's blessings to all who "tri4Him", be they workers or participants. o : )

  • Comments: Not too bad for a first year event. The location is fabulous for a triathlon. I also like that it is part of a points series instead of just a stand alone race.
