Comments: there were loads of volunteers there was great co-operation between volunteers and traffic police [and local council, I guess] making the road race very safe, which gave me a great boost in confidence. Massage was "available" but I was too embarrassed to ask if there was a cost [cost to be expected] I didn't bring any money for it; if I'd worked harder I imagine it would have been real useful. The volunteers gave a lot of oppurtunity for those that may have arrivec late to get in the race. Some good tri-related stalls, but I had no funds. Disappointing burger/hotdog stand, and it seemed expensive too. I went into town and found a cafe that sold jacket-potatos
