  • Comments: Fun race. It's the perfect distance and draws out some pretty fast guys. I'll definitely keep doing it. So, 1 spot off the podium. Not too bad considering I had a 4 min improvement over last year. I am very satisfied with my performance today. This is the first triathlon I legitimately felt like I was racing and in the hunt. It's a cool feeling, I can see the addictive nature of it.

  • Comments: Very nice race. I've grown to like Randy Races. No frills, but nice courses. Long Lake Park was a pleasant surprise -- I don't spend much time up in this part of town. The bike course wasn't particularly pretty (unlike, say, Square Lake) but was very fast. Fun to do a nice, fast course once in a while. I will do this race again instead of Buffalo. Way less crowded and more laid back.
