• Overall course based on my ability: Just right


• Comments: Extremely difficult trail run. Well supported and an exciting event. The water temperature was not an issue; wore a wetsuit and neoprene skull cap under my age group cap and had no issues. I added detailed analysis as it is now on the website. Overall, great race and well-planned regarding the course and support on the course. Be prepared as there is not much in the way of vendors for last minute items and the great wrench at Orange Peel Bikes was busy, busy, busy...another wrench would have been useful. Post race was average and there is a lengthly walk back to transition. Elevation maps of the bike and run would definitely be useful as there are MULTIPLE difficult climbs on the run. I will definitely do it again...I will just be prepared for that run next time :) Thank you bunches to all the volunteers and Todd and Heather...great time and will be back next year. i work for MedExpress Urgent Care.
