  • Comments: Even though I was 3rd in AG, I was very pleased with my result. Jim Hannon 1st in my AG was 4th overall. I would have been 2nd in both the 40-44 and 45-49 AGs and 3rd in the 35-39 AG, so I stacked up very well against the field. Great transitions times. I was not too excited about this race initially but glad I did it. The Pine Island venue is better than Douglas. An additional water stop on the 2nd leg of run would have been nice but maybe not really needed. On second thought, I'm sure the slower competitors who got into the heat more would have appreciated it. I did remember to use lap button during the race instead of start/stop like I've been struggling with. So good job there.
