  • Comments: I had a great time. Rowena is gearing up for next years race so I'm looking forward to training with her. Excited about the results since I was having fun the whole time (minus the first 100 on the swim). Didn't notice any of the problems people complained about last year but I had used their comments to help make my race better so thanks to all of those who endured not so fun races that made mine fun. Oh yea, Disney World with the kids for the first time was awesome! Some of the biggest smiles i've ever seen and that was from all of us. Me, Rowena, Madeline, Gracie, Christopher, and Silly Grandma.

  • Comments: The only negative thing I can say about this race is that the aid stations on the run only had cold Poweraid, the water was warm (air temp). This won't be a factor next year as I plan on having plenty of my own fluids during the run. Overall, I really liked this race and race course. The swim course was easy to navigate, the water didn't taste like diesel, the staging was managed well. The run from the water to the bike transition was pretty nice with the carpet. The path was narrow but I didn't have any problems passing other racers. The transition area was managed very well and the volunteers helped out a lot. The bike course was awesome. Too bad I can't ride that route regularly. I'm curious about the "No Passing Zone" signs. This was not explained at the pre-race course meeting during the expo on Saturday. Lastly, the run course was nicely done. I know I'm going to sign up for next year so save me a spot. Here are my official results from the Disney Triathlon held on
