  • Comments: I was disappointed that for the 25th anniversary of the race they ordered too many of the wrong medals. I think just about everyone got the Tinman sprint medal. It's a minor thing but it bothered me. I only do these things for the tshirts and medals.:)

  • Comments: You can kind of tell the oly is an afterthought next to the HIM, which is understandable, to a certain extent. I came away thinking that you'd think after 25 years they'd have some of the bugs worked out. Like, what the distances actually are. Their maps are primitive. The bike turn around point was iffy and no one seemed to be monitoring it. But, dexter is right, the town seems to love it, and I know it's got to be good for them. There were a lot of volunteers that were very happy people. And it's in the ADKs, what a great place!!

  • Comments: -Funny thing the finishing metals contain distances for the Oly. If it wasn't my first HIM i say OK may take it somewhere to fix it or engrave the right in the back. T-shirts are right. I was hoping for a tech shirt but cotton. -Pre and post race food was good. -Volunteers were highest quality. -The bike out is a little funny but probably the only way to deal with it. I got lucky but feel sorry for those who got caught. -Orange caps need to be rethought. -Town happy to have us. -Thank you Yoshi for being my coach, cheering squad and wife. I love you.

  • Comments: I did well. I just wish, same as always, that I could run faster. My goal is to do the rest of my triathlons at a 9:30 pace. They are all flat runs anyway!
