  • Comments: New Orleans Track Club always does a good job putting on races. Great environment, great people, and VERY organized. This was a good race because it's run throgh the French Quarter, and after the race, they open up the Bubba Gump restaurant for the racers. Overall there was 3 buffet lines, one outside and 2 in the restaurant. They served shrimp pasta, ceaser salad, and bread. Great deal for the $20 entry fee. I'll definitely do this race again next year.

  • Comments: I'm really glad I did this race. Some people say they'd rather not spend the 20 or 30 bucks to race little local races like this one. For me, I think racing brings out the competitiveness that I don't necessarily have when I'm training during the week. Happy One Year Tri-Training Anniversary to me!!! No official race pics, so I got out the camera and did my PR Happy Dance!

  • Comments: The post race was awesome! It was at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company down in the French Quarter. They actually opened up the restaurant to all of the runners, and served a great shrimp pasta. There was even a Forrest Gump look-a-like that looked and sounded A LOT like the real deal. This was one of the best post-races I've seen. Overall, great time. Just wish I could say the same for my race.
