  • Comments: I liked this race. Only a few things I didn't like - I like timing chips (they did not have chips), they should have started us on the shallow end, and the bumpy service road. I love that there was food for me when I was done - I also love love love that they had size small race shirts. But this was their 2nd year and put on to benefit the local boy scouts, so all of that is acceptable. I love love love that they had enough jambalya for me!!! They were pushing off yams on everyone though

  • Comments: Well-run small event for a good cause (local boy scout troops). Event went off on time, plenty of volunteers, route was well marked on bike and run. Probably could have used volunteers at the major turn that at least two riders missed, also could use better pavement on the service road. Otherwise a great little event, good jambalaya and plenty to drink at he finiash. Won a doorprize (gear bag from Stage) which Angel immediately claimed. Plenty of yams to go around, as they couldn't give them away!
