  • Comments: I'm giving the race an overall low rating because the thing that was most important (TIME) was completely overlooked. They didn't have timing chips and didn't even START their clock when the gun went off. At the end, the 'clock time' was two minutes longer than my Garmin. I think the race went off a few min early, and then later they realized that the clock wasn't started and set it somebody's watch. What a mess. There were about a thousand runners, at $20 a piece, the $20,000 should have gotten better attention to timing. At the end we had to write our times on a little card...that's kind of ridiculous for such a large event.
