  • Comments: Super fun race. Totally chill and laid-back as its a fundrasier and you get more ppl coming out for the cause as oppose to the race. We purchased some lemonade and bought some raffle tickets before the awards ceremony. Good fun crowd...talked to a lot of other teams...everyone was super-friendly.

  • Comments: a great fun race for a good cause and a good time. i wouldn't recommend it if you are a serious triathlete though. :)

  • Comments: This was my 1st ever race and it's for a 9/11 victim. I've done it now 3 years in a row and plan on doing it as long as they plan on putting it on.

  • Comments: I simply love this race and hope to do it every year as long as I can always find a partner. I feel like I need the 9/11 reminder every so often and the fact that this event is in honor of someone in the towers that day sends chills up my spine. His brother and friends put on a top notch and interesting event that is very well organized with lots of very energentic volunteers. Already can't wait to do it next year.

  • Comments: What a great race...small and fun! It was pretty easy but that's just me...many folks in this race weren't working on tri's all year and were out here just to remember a good friend and support the memory of those we lost in 9/11. AWESOME JOB! Can't wait until next year.

  • Comments: Good race for a great cause. Great race for non swimmers (as long as you don't fall out of your canoe) and a very challenging bike course.

  • Comments: Tons of fun!!! Very good race that is a memorial race for a 9/11 victim. It's also a fundraiser for the Make-a-Wish foundation. Definitely a different feel when participants are there for a cause as oppose to the typical triathlon. Sissy and I talked to some random guy for about 10min and when we asked him who he was cheering, he just said he was there b/c he was a neighbor of the 9/11 victim's famliy. Website could you use some help with better course maps, description, accurate mileage etc. but given the purpose/level of this race, these are "nice-to-have's" as oppose to "must-have's".

  • Comments: great venue. great cause. great course. website, race details, course details etc. are pretty poor, but i would still recommend it.
