  • Comments: volunteers at this race were fantastic. water stations, awesome. jack's speeches, soooo long. jack yelling at my brother, hysterical. would NOT do this as a full 1/2 IM. that run course looked lonely as we were driving out. and hot. argh. aqua bike though...awesome. will do it again. support is fantastic. just not a lot of bells and whistles associated with it...but that's jack and we all know that going in...

  • Comments: WAAAAYYYYY too expensive for an aquabike but otherwise a good day. If you are doing your first HIM and/or looking for crowds cheering and supporting this is not the event for you. Aid stations on bike and run were plentiful and it is well supported from that persepctive plus it's a relatively flat bike and run HIM course

  • Comments: Oh PS - I subtracted the lame "200m run" from my overall chip time since I'm not sure why it counted for an Aquabike time in the first place. I wouldn't have thought that the transition would have counted either, but I'll split the difference.

  • Comments: Jack and team deliver again! I can only hope the GP city manager decides to pull his head out, so we can race out there again next season.
