- Description: Athletes begin their day in the town of Frankston, south of Melbourne. The one-loop, 2.4-mile swim course leaves from the south side of the Frankston pier and heads north, before turning south to finish on the opposite side of the pier. The 112-mile, two-lap bike course incorporates the Eastlink Tollway, a world-class expressway closed exclusively for the use of competitors on race day. The iconic point-to-point run course also starts in Frankston, and concludes in St. Kilda, a funky beachside neighborhood with views of the Melbourne skyline.
