Lie on your back and bend your knees. Straighten your arms and lay them by your sides. Keep your thighs about 1 ½ feet apart and raise your feet off the floor. Keep your knees bent at an angle slightly less than 90-degrees. Do not change the position of the legs during the exercise. Using the lower part of the abdominal region, raise your hips off the floor as you contract the abs to lift the lower body. Slowly lower your hips and repeat the movement. Focus on proper breathing and do not hold your breath.
