Straight leg lift exercise (standing on Bosu, hold onto support to the side) – single leg
This exercise is great for the beginner/intermediate who is working on core strength or an improvement in balance. Place the Bosu next to a wall, close enough for your hand to touch the wall. Start by standing on the top of the Bosu with feet shoulder width apart. Place your hand on the wall for support. You can also do this exercise without the wall for support. As you contract the core, put all of your body weight on the left leg. Slowly lift the right leg by leading with your toes. Keep your toes pointing towards the sky.

Once your right leg is parallel with the hips, slowly lower the leg to the Bosu. Repeat the movement with the left leg, by placing all your body weight on the right leg which is planted on the Bosu. Keep the core contracted, back flat and eyes facing forward.

This exercise should not be completed quickly. Repeat the exercise with the other leg after you finish your set.
