Date: Nov 24, 2010I train on an Aluminium road bike and race on a Carbon Time Trial bike. The difference is amazing and I race so much faster on my Carbon bike. The way it responds is so much better than my Aluminium bike.

Carbon Bikes - Are They For You?
Should you make the switch from your current aluminum framed bike to a carbon bike frame?
The intent of this article is to be a primer on the topic of carbon or aluminum. It's subjective and will go into detail on handling, climbing and road feel. This article doesn't go into specific numbers such as drag, exact time saved at your race riding carbon, etc. but can be a start to your discussion on making the switch.
