In summary, the Garmin 305 has been a good investment and I have used it often. I have been pleased with the watch.

A nice value priced HRM/GPS that you can use on the bike (cadence sensor sold serperately for $40-49) and on the run.

FREEDOM! This device allows you to change your route on a whim. No longer do I have to follow the same old route with predetermined mileage markers. I can just run and bike wherever.

I love this watch, I can upload it to thier traing log my computer and on this site as well. I'm still starting to unlock it's potential which in turn should unlock mine. I would tell anyone to buy this watch.

This is an amazing training tool. Displays important data, distance, pace, and heart rate. Also comes with software package to analyze your training session. You can see your pace and heart rate at any point during your training session.

This is an awsome product it actually makes me want to train and get off the couch. I enjoy this item so much that any training done without it does not get logged or counted for the day. I bike with it and run with it every single time. linking to BT makes this product even more fun to use.

Great training tool!

This is an excellent watch for running and cycling. It is not to be used underwater. Garmin is emerging with a new watch specific to triathlons, which will be water resistant and slight smaller.

better than the 205 i started with, HR function a must have. wish it could be used in the water, but otherwise am very happy

overall a great product. well worth the price and would not race without it.

I love it. I do not run without it. Having all the data I need for my workouts is great and with all my traveling I know exactly how far I've ran for any city that I'm in that week. I think this is a great piece of equipment.
