  • Comments: This was an awesome race experience! I've heard great things about Mooseman and Timberman from other people, and I'm ecstatic that Endorfun decided to branch out into the Texas market with Lonestar and Longhorn in October. The pre-race activities were spectacular. The pasta Friday night was delicious, and the expo was great as well. There was plenty of food after the race. Pizza, bagels, bananas, oranges, soft drinks, tea, water, they had it all! I worked an aid station for the sprint on Saturday, and Endorfun had everything ready for us to setup. We didn't have to ask for anything. Well, it would have been nice to have a 100'x100' tarp to cover the aid station during Saturday's monsoon, but we can't have it all. ;-)

  • Comments: I have only heard great things about Endorfun races and I was not disappointed. Other than some confusion with dinner tix for friday night, the race was great. Keith can not control the water! The best part was meeting some great people. I had a blast and will be back next year. Thanks to Ron and his family (Carol and Virginia) for taking care of things at the house. Other than some minor flooding, things were great.

  • Comments: Not to shabby for my first tri longer than a sprint distance. Crossing that finish line was one of the best feelings I have ever had, especially having some of my closest friends there cheering me on. - Did I mention they made shirts to cheer me on - I'll have to post a picture! I had a fabulous time! I loved training with TNT for this event. And I couldn't have asked for a better race. Thanks to all the people that helped with the race to make it a day I will always remember. I have two picture galleries here - http://www.irishtexan.net/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=33038 and here - http://chach-house.net/gallery/main.php/v/Mrs_+Tberry/Special-Event... Here are a few previews though -

  • Comments: The best race I've done so far. Fantastic venue, very well organized, tons of volunteers and support, good amenities and expo. Logistics handled great, and race directors were responsive to email and forums. I am thrilled that Endorfun is now running races in our state. I'll definitely be coming back again.

  • Comments: Keith and EndorFun put on an awesome race. Seriously, one of the better organized and put on races I've done. Stellar performance by all the EndorFun folks and of course the countless volunteers. Seriously considering this race again for next year. It's a good start to the season for us Northerners, and hopefully we won't have 6" of standing water the day before the race to contend with. The BT Beach House was a great idea. Definitely made the time much more enjoyable being able to hang out with all the other BTers in person.

  • Comments: After I made it home I looked up my results and then felt a lot better about everything. It was my first longer race and I did ok. I finished and was only about 15 minutes off of my goal- and that was in a what I think was a pretty tough course. Luke dropped me off and went stright to Church (with out a shower!) and I started cleaning house and getting things ready for work today. Overall it was a pretty fun weekend. :)

  • Comments: Keith did a great job putting this race together. Everything was very well organized, marked and on time. I am really looking forward to doing the 1/2 at Longhorn now. The race packets were great as well. The only complaint that I had was that there were no instructions in the race packet. Things like if there was a mandatory spot to put the # on the bike since some races require it or if it could go anywhere, times when transition closed and course maps. Would have been nice but not a necessity. Great very very well run race! Will be back for sure!

  • Comments: A very well run race, you could tell it was a first-class job. Weather played havoc with the sprint race on Saturday and the after-effects were still evident on the course for Sunday, but the RD did a good job in making everthing work. Really cool meeting Marmadaddy and Ron. Talked with them at the expo and post-race. MANY thanks to those guys and all their work on this site. No way of telling how many millions of dollars of lost work productivity they have been responsible for. Met a bunch of BT'ers, so many, that their "real names" and user names got all blended together. Luke, Kylie, Bill, The Bear, dodgersmom, Joe, Bonnie, coredump, jcagg90, doughboy, and others that I have missed or forgotten. Where else in the world can you meet someone in real life for the first time whose blogs you've read on the Internet, and talk about peeing in your wetsuit while floating in the water before a race. ;-) Good folks, all. Great early season race and will definitely keep it in mind

  • Comments: This was a great step up for me - my first oly distance. Fabulous venue. Only a few minor difficulties in the organaization of the race (extra tickets, etc.), but I would do this race again in a heart beat. I had a blast and can't wait to improve on my time next year!

  • Comments: I'm going to be SO READY for Big Kahuna come September. It's going to be awesome. I wanted to see how this race went, and based on that, decide whether or not I thought it was realistic to do Big Kahuna. I will definitely be ready for a HIM in five months' time, no question about it. I might even be ready enough to do the HIM and then do the Chicago Marathon a month later. Maybe.
