  • Comments: Little disappointed in this race, but Mike put in perspective "You're whining about running a sub 25 5K." No sir I will not. Missed ya Mike. Was looking forward to getting beat by Madie in the one mile Fun Run.

  • Comments: It seemed to be a lot families there as it was Fathers day. Mike and I are childless. Well for this race. We would have stayed but we were hungry and ready to head home to the presents and glory. Madie would have loved the kids race. We went to Durfs for breakfast. I got a little nervous because there was a fire truck in front when we got there. Wasn't really looking for much out of this race. I thought that maybe I could take it easy, you know just run to have fun. After the pretty good start I figure why waste it. There was a stretch I slowed a little, but got it back in gear and finished strong.

  • Comments: A nice Father's Day event. Fast course. There's a Family 1k after the 5k.
