  • Comments: Great race, especially considering I was out of shape and had some leg pain. My goal was sub 10 min miles and I barely made that. Good race overall given these factors.

  • Comments: Overall very good, however the parking exit was one lane and intersected part of the run course which seems counterproductive.

  • Comments: Very good race, I definately would recommend running it. Event went really smooth up until the part where they awarded me the 1st place Masters plaque and a guy that finished ahead of me runs up and talks to the MC after the 45-49 age group was awarded. Waited until he got back from the official timers area to see what was up. I knew he was either in my group or the 45-49. I asked he how old he was when he got back and he said 44 so I handed him his plaque and talked to the MC about getting the 2nd place plaque. Hopefully I'll get it mailed to me.

  • Comments: Great breakfast burritos afterwards! Love the medal, too. Great race if you are okay with hills. Good training for Ragnar (Prescott to Mesa will be hilly, too!)

  • Comments: This is a great small town race in the open desert. They put on different races to appeal to all types of runners. They give out beautiful medals for 8k, 10k, half and full mary. We did not stay for the post race food due to the line. The race provides breakfast burritos with the usual bagels, oranges and water. Everyone really enjoyed the race and plan on making this an annual event.
