  • Comments: Good race as long as there is water in Lake Hefner, which doesn't seem to always be the case. Excellent volunteers!

  • Comments: Overall I was happy with my performance at this race. The volunteers were nice and helpful, got some good swag, got a good post race massage. The one thing I did like is that race numbers were temporary tattoos, so we put them on the night before and didn't have to get body-marked race morning. The bad part of that was that the numbers were so big, they barely fit on my arms! People that did the race in the past said the road conditions this year were much better than last, but the roads were not in that great of condition in my mind. If they could find some better roads, it would be great. The weather also turned out to be great for race day.

  • Comments: I've read a lot of race reports from this race last year and I knew there would be good voluteers, but they were great. There were so many voluteers stopping and directing traffic all along the course. The aid stations were staffed with great people that did a great job. The best voluteers were two teenage girls that were cheering like crazy on the way out, and when I returned an hour later they were still at it. Good kids, great spirit! The venue is awesome. It has good parking for athletes, especially if you get there early, and plenty of room for spectators. I can't wait to do the Half Redman next year.
