  • Comments: I PR’d this by about 5 minutes from last year, so I’m proud of the accomplishment. I just feel like I have more I can do. To give credit where it’s due, there are some fast people that come to this race. This is an excellent race put on by a top quality RD. It just had its 19th year running and I’m sad to see Jana retire herself from it, though it sounds like someone will continue to maintain the race and name moving forward. It’s very beginner friendly. It has the challenge of being during the weather transition where it’s starting to heat up each week in May. Thank goodness it was overcast.

  • Comments: The race was very well organized. The volunteers were very friendly and helpful. A number of them were community/local volunteers while a number of them were volunteers from the Tri On the Run race team. Hey! I won a $25 gift cert to TOTR so I'm pretty happy!

  • Comments: ComBat is a good race with plenty of food afterwards. The course is good and little traffic. I still have one more 70 year old to beat. I lost a minute from last year, but considering the wind and rain for 2/3rds of the bike I am not complaining.
