  • Comments: Pre-race pasta meal was a bust - food gone at 6PM and waited 40 minutes for bad pizza to arrive. No hammer gel's were left on the run - presumably all given to Sprint Racers and those ahead of me. I know, picky but...those two things were big pushes by the race director. Otherwise, plenty of volunteers on the course and all were friendly. Seemed like the Olympic was second fiddle to the Sprint which seems odd.

  • Comments: The start seemed a little chaotic and then I felt like the support on the run was lacking-there were lots of water stations but the volunteers were all staying on one side of the road so if you didn't cross the road and get the fluids you had to wait until you came back by.

  • Comments: Considering that I have not really trained this year and it was my first tri of the season, I had a good race and I was pleased.

  • Comments: The race was very organized with the exception of the Sprinters run and the Olympians Bike. It was the same course for a few miles and the runners were scattered all over the road - forcing the Olympic distance bikers to weave in and out of them. Other than that - the race was very organized and I could not have asked for more. The run was ey - the roads were poor and the winding through the neighborhoods felt eternal. Overall though this was a great race for a first time triathlete!
