  • Comments: I really enjoyed the race. I had a really good time and I was most impressed with the bike route. They had every single intersection covered and I never had to hit the brakes once for traffic. Very friendly volunteers and a decent after party. This is only my second tri, so I can't really compare it to much else, but I thought it was a nice finish.

  • Comments: The one complaint I would have is the weeds on the swim and the lack of water at the finish line. You had to walk about 50 feet or so weaving through a crowd of people to get water at the finish line. They need to have water in your hands immediately after crossing the finish line. You shouldn't have to get directions on where the water is and then have to weave through a crowd of people to get to it. It took me a good 5 minutes to get to the water. Overall, this was a good race and I will definately do it again next year.

  • Comments: Overall very pleased. Would like to see improvements on the pavement for the bike ride (way too many potholes and sewer covers), and see them pull some of the seaweed out of the lake for the swim. Overall I was pleased enough to register for another Tri in 6 weeks and definitely plan on attending next year's Downtown Orlando Triathlon.

  • Comments: Good for a downtown race. The awards were pretty cool, too. They had water bottles for the top 5 in each age group. Not bike water bottles, but the sturdy kind with a metal bottom. Nice volunteers, too! I didn't see one disgruntled volunteer during the whole race.

  • Comments: Good race except for the water. Post race activities were good..Had bands Lots of free stuff to try. Some good times. I didnt place but Mags got 3rd in Athena...Go Her!!
