  • Comments: This was an excellent race. Very organized with lots of volunteers. They had a great food spread at the end along with a beer garden and were selling pies for people to take home for Thanksgiving. Me, my husband, brother and cousin all ran the race while my parents and aunt and uncle walked with my parent's dog. We all had a great time, and I think we'll do the race again next year!

  • Comments: I do wish they had a seperate place for walkers, like to the right or something. I had a women walking make a sharp right directly in front of me with her stroller and dog on a leash. Then others stop to greet eachother suddenly so I had to stop completely twice! With that said it was a well organized event and the entry fee goes to a great cause, which is what it really was all about for Thanksgiving!

  • Comments: This was a great race but man did it RAIN! Yes, It never rains in Southern California but (I think the song goes...) when it rains it POURS!. OK Father Joe puts on a great event for charity and he has nothing to do with the weather. I have to say it was the most memorable 5k ever - running in the rain, standing in the beer area getting dumped on after the finish, and the rainbow on the drive back home. Great way to start off a day full of pigging out! Oh, and they served Stone beer. Well worth the down pour, although you had to cover your beer so it didn't fill up with water!

  • Comments: Everything was great EXCEPT for the runners/strollers/walkers/dogs all starting at once. It would have better if I didn't have to weave in and out of people the whole race.
