  • Comments: I ended up placing 3rd Overall for females. When Greg told me my time, I was shocked...I had no idea what my time was on the bike cause the computer didn't work. I knew I'd had a good swim and run, but I didn't know about the bike. I was really happy with my effort, and final time! This was a great first Oly course! Swimming in Lake Huron is a crap shoot (The whitecaps were big on the run! Thank goodness we missed that in the swim!), but the mostly flat bike and flat and pretty run were worth it! :-) It was a great way to end my tri season. I'm sure there will be more oly's in my future! It was so fun to race with Sue and George again, as well as the FAST girls and my captain Kimm! I had a great time once again!!! I love this sport!

  • Comments: I love the swim and the bike in this race THe run is a little boring Organization was generally okay, lots of volunteers on the bike course, but the volunteers on the run did not really know how to do it Unfortunately, the Clyde division started at 225, luckily I dont fall into that category

  • Comments: 3-D lost my registration. was still able to race, but no shirt. Few if any volunteers out on the bike course. Some obvious drafting taking place among some of the teams and no one out there to catch them. Two of the water stations had no volunteers to hand out water, just cups and a cooler.

  • Comments: I wont complain too much about 3d on here, but I truly am becoming disappointed with their timing at their events. I had no time at all, I saw another with no time at all, and multiple people missing splits. Unfortunately this seems to happen fairly often with them. You pay $70 to go race, and to go in there "hoping" that they catch all your splits during the race, is a letdown.

  • Comments: This is a great venue for a race, being on a Great Lake is a big bonus for me. The overall course lay out was great! The after race pizza was BAD! Not sure why cold pizza is the choice. After seeing some other races this year, it would be nice if they had a meal ticket and handed out some subs or sandwiches, and allow family members to purchase a ticket at the event.
