  • Comments: just enough hills on the bike, a bit tight on the run in terms of passing people but for the most part the racers are spread out at this point. The finish is great overlooking the gorge for the last 400m straight to the finish line.

  • Comments: good overall race, had fun and would do it again. On a side note, our Tri club was volunteering at the aid stations and at registration/body marking for the day so I stayed around after and helped out with the try-a-tri. It was kind of funny seeing some of the first timers out there, asking us some of the same questions I was asking a few years ago when I did my first try-a-tri, oh the memories!!

  • Comments: Nice race. The lake was kinda mucky but swimmable. The distances were odd but worked out ok. The run course was pretty (woods) but a little clausterphobic.

  • Comments: Usual, consistent organization; Awards and door prizes are still too 'mechanical' for my liking - they just rush through them. The bike course was better than I had anticipated - I REALLY liked the old course but still hate the run. Would take hills over that any day.

  • Comments: This was a good race for me in that it was my first sprint distance race and I hadn't really done the race bike distance in training more than two or three times let alone all three together. I definitely know where to improve and as hubby pointed out - a month and a half ago I was flat on my back with a tube sticking out of my chest so aside from swim performance I'm feeling pretty good about it. :) Hubby took funny pics - me running out of the lake with eyes closed - I was *that* tired! Then laugh or cry as I cross the finish line...?

  • Comments: Great day. Had the famliy with me, to cheer me on. My goal was to do it in 1hr 55 mins and I did. 10min's faster from 2years ago. I think that Peterbourogh help alot. Very happy set all my goals 20min swim be under 1hr on the bike and the run not to have a melt down. Only think the weater wasn't the greatest.
