  • Comments: This is a good smaller race. Pretty well organized. The organizer mentioned that they had been sweeping the roads for 3 days leading up to the event, but there was still a good bit of debris, and even some gravel at a turn on a downhill, which could have caused problems. Otherwise, no complaints, and I would consider doing this race again.

  • Comments: Most of all, I had a lot of fun on this race. I knew I'd be in the bottom 25%, that's no surprise to me, but I had the best time and feel great about what I accomplished. A year ago, I wouldn't have put in those distances in 2 weeks of training. I think I'll do more Olympic distance races. I'll never be competitive at them, but I will keep myself fit and have fun doing them.
