  • Comments: Good race!, really well run. They expected around 2500 runners and a pretty stacked field. It was neat to see some of the Kenyan's when they made the turn. Very impressive!

  • Comments: Great local race. Early bird fee of $35 was awesome, and got a New Balance gender-specific (important!) tech tshirt. Didn't stick around for post-race stuff, but it looked like they were setting up for a good time, with a band and beer and all sorts of stuff. I'll certainly consider putting it on my schedule again next year.

  • Comments: I only found apples and cookies at the end. I prefer a few more choices such as bananas after a race.

  • Comments: This a great half Mary for a P.R plus Khalid Khannouchi chicago Marathon winner was at event and 2 kenyans runners here. Japheth N O Joy 1.05:14 and Daniel Mbogo 1:05:46 post race band was top notch. Plus cold beer

  • Comments: For those reading this Race Report, I highly recommend this race. Aside from the fact that it is a legitimate race, it is also one of the few local Chicago Half Marathons that are this early in the running season. Get your kicks at this race!
