  • Comments: A good race, beautiful course. Minimal goodie bag and amenities/food--sort of the bare minimum you could get away with on a race, but still a fun time. And the race T-shirt's nice. :)

  • Comments: I'd give it a 5 but there were no shirts for people who registered the day of. I realize that this is probably only a handful of races where you actually can register the day of but for $100, a shirt would be nice. I was excited to get 3rd in AG - one girl in my AG won 2nd OA so my #4 finish got me 3rd. Yippee :)

  • Comments: I really liked this race and I would like to do more triathlons after more training. I was the youngest person by seven years....next oldest person racing was 20yrs old....my Mom is VERY proud of me!

  • Overall course based on my ability: Too hard

  • Comments: I liked the race. It was challenging. I would definitely do it next year - and I'm planning on it, because there's no way I'm happy with being over 2:00. While I was totally bummed out about my race when I crossed the finish line, looking back, it was definitely a character builder and I'm pleased with how I kept my head about me in some bad situations (the swim, the chain, etc.) and gutted it out.

  • Comments: The race was run very well, I had a good time. I don't know what I expected of myself, but I had a good time. My favorite memory will be the body marking of "NEW MOM!!" on my calf. Most people that passed me (and there were quite a few) congratulated me on the new baby.

  • Comments: Well, of course you know I'm pissed because of my finish. I added an extra 7+ minutes to my time. I think I could have possibly brought home some overall female hardward or been really really close if I didn't make such a silly mistake!

  • Comments: The course was beautiful, especially the bike section. Plenty of volunteers on the bike and run made navigation a snap. The only problem was the amount of time it took to register. (note to self: volunteer at a race next year) Highlight of the race: Watched 73 year old triathlete Bud Scholsser come in. He won his division. :) Is that cool or what. I hope I look as good as Bud when I'm 73. Heck, I wish I looked as good as him now! Here's a photo of me an Bud.
