  • Comments: A very good overall event. Well planned and executed. All went right on time. Pleant of volunteers and police at every corner to keep everyone safe. For its size, it was very very well run. I would recommend for anyone looking for a large fun sprint event.

  • Comments: I had a great time at the race. It was really inspirational seeing such a wide range in age and body types. I saw one bike that probably could have been overtaken by a tricycle and it made me realize that I need to have fun and that is what I did. Overall atmosphere was great and I will do this race again. Thanks to all the other competitors for their great spirit and motivating energy.

  • Comments: LOTS and lots of volunteers! Lots of high school age kids yelling support all over the course! REAL Orea cookies at the finish! (no chocolate milk though) Really glad I decided to add this race on a week ago, raced with Deb. We did our first tri ever together here 14 years ago. (different race, same site!) not sure of overall place yet, or how many were in my age group. (weird posting of results, based on the strange time trial start...listed by clock time...then your actual time was at the end of the row) Will wait for on line posting, then add info later! oh yeah, Naperville still has a boat load of rocking fast athletes!!

  • Comments: I thought this race was run much better this year. Last year, not only did the swim get congested but the bike was really bad too. This year it was just the swim. The organizers at least tried to discourage people from lieing about their projected swim times. They seemed to have things moving pretty good on the bike though. There were only a few blockers. Overall, I'm pretty happy on 6th place. I was looking for a podium, but my race luck has been horible. I'm not surprised I got sick for the race. Even still, I think I had a pretty good result for being sick.

  • Comments: Still think this is the best event for anyone to do as a first tri. The course is "easy", well organized and enjoyable. Had a colleague from work join me and she rocked the race with no real training. Personally was very pleased with today. Unlike previous races had no cramps and was able to finally run the 5K. While I have not made the progress that I aspired to this year, there's been a ton of progress none the less. In addition, I've listened to my body and made gains that are sustainable and safe. Looking at my best health in decades and ready for a great off season of training and an exciting 2012!

  • Comments: First time for me and had to say given the amount of entrants, they do an excellent job! Courses were layed out very nicely and tons of volunteers to assist and encourage you throughout the race! Will definitely be an annual event for me! Can't wait til next year!

  • Comments: Overall i was very very happy with my race. Placed in 91st Percentile which isn't to bad considering 3 months ago i didn't own a bike, hadn't swam since i was a kid and dealt with a 7 month hip injuring (not to mention having a broken toe from Feb-April)
