  • Comments: This is a small local race that improves every year. They do a great job with traffic control and participant safety. The downfalls are the run from the water to T-1 is a stone dust path, and the transition area is a gravel lot. I will race this next year, it was nice to have them upgrade the timing so we could get accurate T times.

  • Comments: I liked this race. This was my first triathlon and I wanted a race that was smaller and geared towards newer triathletes. I gained alot of knowledge thru experience today and am looking forward to racing this again next year. I was really happy with my swim, was satisfied with my bike, so 2 out of 3 in the good column for my first tri aren't bad...I also picked up 2nd in my AG which netted me a cool trophy :)

  • Comments: Its a small race, only 125 people, and parking is right at the transition area which is so nice, although i did get blocked in for bit when i tried to leave. luckily i wasn't in a big hurry :) I love this race and the longer swim it has.

  • Comments: The theme here- it was my first race and I was just happy to have done it. I felt as though it went better than I would have expected. I even got a medal for third in my age group =) and I got 7th in the women (which also can be attributed to the small numbers). I think I felt as good as I did because it was a very small race with lots of first timers so we were all nervous together. My enjoyment of it brings me here to BT- and to planning to do one more spint before the summer is out!
