  • Comments: This was my birthday race (birthday on 11/4 and my first triathlon last year) and therefore my benchmark. I wanted to see just how much I improved over last year. 20:51 improvement! I was much faster in all three legs. I chopped off 3:26 in the swim and another 5:16 on the bike. My biggest improvement came on the run where I took off 10:37 from the year before (about 3:22 per mile).

  • Comments: Once again the Marines put on a great event. Other than the swim start everything went off without a hitch. One of the best races for the money on the island if you ask me.
