  • Comments: Since I was racing collegiate, competition was tough. But I had a time that would have placed me in 2nd in my age group, so I know my performance was strong. It just comes down to training more. Lets mark this one up to experience. Overall, a fun event with the team. I love these guys!

  • Comments: I will probably do it again next year. It was awesome, especially the swim. Very cold! Makes you appreciate a heated pool

  • Comments: Fun race to start the season with....if you can handle the cold water. It isn't a flat course, and while I could handle that on the bike, I wasn't ready on the run. I still ran well, but I'm feeling it afterwards. It was a good turnout too, so there were lots of people for me to pass! I passed a lot of people on the bike and run, and only had one person pass me the entire race, which was a good feeling. The course is pretty and the lodge was very convenient. The biggest negative was that it's in the middle of nowhere, so it's a long drive for just about everybody.
