Comments: I like this event - the balance of more swimming and less running plays to my strengths (and is, in my opinion, a more "fair" balance for a triathlon than the traditional distances). Finished 2nd in age group which was exciting - first time with an AG podium. Overall a solid performance but not spectacular. Time was down a bit from last year, but mostly due to a shorter swim. 2011: 1:27:57 2012: 1:24:03

Comments: It was an extremely well run, organized event with lots of nice amenities that surprised me at a sprint race. But then again, Piranha Sports race organization is very well-developed in the tri-state area and puts on quite a few events per year, so I imagine they should have it down pat!

Comments: Post race- ran out of sports drink and nearly out of water. Subs were good. They played Christian praise music before the race..Nice touch on a Sunday.
